One of our manufacturing client's is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a contract to hire basis. This is a friendly, team-oriented work environment. We're seeking a self-starter and team player!

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and code vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
• Execute ACH, check, and wire payments per company procedures
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Handle freight invoices (UPS, FedEx, DHL) and employee expense reports
• Process monthly credit card statements
• Maintain compliance with AP requirements (W-9s, sales tax, etc.)
• Create payment files and support process improvements
• Provide backup support to the AP team

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience
• Experience with Sage (Sage 100 preferred) and Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines
• Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset
